Queens Park Miniature Railway 10 ¼ inch

The Queens Park Miniature Railway first opened in 1976, laid by Cromar White Railways Ltd for the Borough Council on a former BR trackbed. It was originally an end to end line, though was reverted to its current circular route round the park lake, with a spur to the shed. Trains were originally operated by an Ian Allan locomotive, until the Severn Lamb stock was purchased from the Bickington Steam Railway, when deemed unsuitable for their operations. The railway after a period of closure in 2007 after damage in floods, has now been restored.
