Ballymote Miniature Railway 7 ¼ inch
The Ballymote Miniature Railway first opened in 2005, and runs directly next to the main line railway, in the town park which also houses a playground and 13th century Norman Castle and Franciscan Abbey. Trains are operated by a Roanoke petrol shunter, pulling three Joe Nemeth passenger sit-in carriages.
